St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Irvington celebrated Indigenous People's Day early on Sunday.
The congregation paid homage to this community through sermon and song.
Their choir sang a lullaby in the Lakota language at their 10 a.m. service. The song is called "My Kind-Hearted Boy" in English. It was arranged by composer Linthicum-Blackhorse.
Monday marks the third Indigenous Peoples’ Day in the U.S.
