The Irvington Bulldogs brought this season's winning streak to four when they defeated the Putnam Valley Tigers in yesterday's Columbus Day match, 17-8.
Both teams went into the game with records of 3-1. After the Tigers took the lead 8-7 at the half, Irvington pulled ahead by the end of the game with a touchdown from running back Jonah Rosenblum. After winning no games last year, Irvington is now on a four-game winning streak, and could make the playoffs.
