Last night's storm did serious damage across the Hudson
Valley as wind, rain and even hail resulted in downed trees and power lines.
The storms hit hard on Mari Road in Chester at about 9
p.m.
Those on the scene tell News
12 the dangerous weather reminded them of a tornado.
"Within ten minutes, we
had hail the size of golf balls, everything was flying. Trees were being
uprooted, and we didn't know what was going on. It looked like a tornado more
than anything else... felt like a tornado too," says Chester Councilman Tony
Ardisana.
Authorities have not confirmed a tornado in the area. There were no reported injuries.
