In a surprising outcome, Republican Incumbent Sheila Conroy was defeated in the race for Woodbury town supervisor by her Democratic challenger John Burke.Woodbury?s newest town supervisor has done what some considered impossible, beating an incumbent who had held the position for two terms. Burke feels voters knew what they wanted and he was the person who would deliver. ?I?m excited and I?m looking forward to it,? says Burke.
