After what some are calling a landslide vote, 56-year-old John Keegan of Suffern is set to be on the Democratic ticket for village mayor. Keegan defeated Democratic mayoral candidate John Meehan, 64, by more than 300 votes. Just moments after the numbers were in, Meehan called to congratulate Keegan for running a great campaign. Supporters at the victory party say they are hoping Keegan will lead them to a victory over Republican Mayor Giannetino in November.
