White Plains Mayor Adam Bradley will now be allowed to see his wife Fumiko, five days after she filed an order of protection against him following an alleged domestic violence incident.
Fumiko Bradley recanted Friday the story she initially gave police, detailing how her husband slammed her hand in a door frame Sunday, and how this was not the first instance of abuse in the household.
The two spent the day in White Plains, trying to resolve an order of protection that has prevented the couple from even seeing each other since the incident. Neal Comer, Fumiko's attorney, requested the judge simply "let this go away."
The judge decided to let the couple see each other, but kept the order of protection in place. The next conference on the case is scheduled for April 1.
