A traffic alert has been issued for this week as construction continues on the new Tappan Zee Bridge.

One lane each way will be closed each day this week as the I Lift NY Super cranes work to install structural steel girders.

The right lane on the northbound side will be closed from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday. It will also be closed from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Friday.

The right lane on the southbound side will be closed from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.
