The Kingston Police Department is warning people to be cautious after two wild animal sightings this weekend.
They say a large black snake was spotted on Saturday in Ulster County, blocking the entrance to Dallas Hot Weiners on Broadway.
They say customers were stuck inside until the reptile was moved to a more snake-friendly environment.
The same day, they received several calls about a bear cub running around the playground at Kingston Point Park.
They say after it got tired, it ran into the wooded area by the bike track.
