That you're out on the roads. Yes. It's just a little like, you know, quick. Oh, there it is. And a quick chuckle. Right. Um, that's exactly what we're dealing with today. It's like a quick little cold plunge and tomorrow. Really? We're back to more seasonable types. So we have to contend with these colder temperatures just a little while longer. We do get to stop freezing later on today. So eight o'clock, you'll notice temperatures really taking a deep dive, but it doesn't last for too long. Tomorrow, we wake up with fields a little bit more manageable into the twenties. And by Friday and Saturday we're back into swing with the forties and fifties as ultimate high temperatures. Now, what's gonna influence? Of course, a warmth are the winds, the winds will also tack back down heading into the afternoon today and not be as gusty. Now, they will be coming back tomorrow Thursday, but notice a direction here out of the south and southwest that also adds into a little bit more of that warmth and milder feel. Overall, we are tracking some wet weather returning once again, kind of all day, really nuisance rain. We're not looking at significant rain totals for Friday, but of course, you're gonna have to keep your umbrella handy today. It's sunny and still frigid. I know many of us are noticing that layers is really the best way to go and protect ourselves from the cold, cold temperatures into the thirties. Right around five o'clock, the clouds will fall, then they will decrease clearing up for our night sky tonight. Then we'll notice some more clouds just passing on through for Friday. Now, Friday morning, we wake up into the thirties right around lunchtime. We'll notice overcast skies and northern portions getting the showers first. A little bit of a break right between two and four o'clock and then more widespread showers. Belmar to Jackson, expecting a little bit more moderate rainfall clears out nicely by nine o'clock. All in all. We're trending a bit more. We wet, heading into December 9th.

With storm watch team, neurologist Alex Calamia. Alex. Do you do the Spotify? Unwrapped or you? Apple music replay? I do have a Spotify. I did not realize that we were already at this point in the year. It comes up so quick and I mean, that's why it feels so cold. I know. I know it's true. The weather is reminding us that. Yes, winter time is around the corner. We are chilly all the way through tomorrow morning and we are dry all day. Thursday. So Thursday actually looks pretty decent in the afternoon because temperatures rebound. But the rest of today is cold, cold, cold Friday. We're talking about rain. It's cloudy for the first half of the day and then kind of sprinkles, light showers for the evening time. It's nothing really too significant but it could get you a little wet at times and same for the weekend. It's generally a cloudy weekend. And if you have plans Saturday or Sunday evening, there will be a little bit of rain in the mix too. We're stuck in the thirties though, for the rest of today. There's no novelty snow flakes like we saw yesterday. It's too dry for that today. Temperatures are, you know, pretty similar, but the wind is not as bad today. So that helps. But it does feel like basically 30 degrees all afternoon and it feels like twenties for your Thursday morning. So this is what you're waking up to as far as wind chill goes. I'll show you the temperatures in a second, but the wind chill is what you want to pay attention to tomorrow. Still a bit of a breeze. In the afternoon, we have lots of sunshine. Highs are in the mid, upper forties, but it feels like lower forties. So that's kind of important to keep in mind you'll need the heavy jacket this evening. And tonight, actual temperatures are close to freezing this morning. It was 27 in Central Park and that was the coldest we've been since February 25th. So it's an improvement tomorrow, but not much. And then on Friday, it's going to be similar temperatures, but we've got some rain to talk about. You see, in the morning it's dry on Friday, but in the afternoon we tracking a few showers, lunchtime, very light shower chance. And then the evening commute the second half of the evening commute, especially dinner time or so, we'll see a few passing showers or maybe even a downpour, but it's pretty brief. Saturday morning should be dry. Saturday afternoon, enough cloud cover to bring in a stray shower chance, but we're keeping an eye over a 10 day for now. Sunday, that rain risk is a little bit higher in the afternoon and evening temperatures are back in the forties and fifties.

Hello, everyone. I'm meteorologist Addison Green. And it's time for your latest news. 12 plus plus hyperlocal forecast for the Hudson Valley. Unfortunately, we're still dealing with some colder than the average conditions out there. So you will need that thick layer on later on tonight. And throughout the overnight hours, whether it's a thick hoodie, a jacket dress, a hat, a scarf, which is something to keep the warmth on your body for you day on Thursday, we are getting a little bit better in terms of the temperatures are rising a little bit and then from Friday to Saturday, those temperatures are trending mild, but unfortunately, the rain chances are moving upward. So moving on in across the area, unlike how it was yesterday, we do not have snow showers coming on down, just some partly cloudy skies and a wind, maybe about 5 to 15 MPH coming on down. Unfortunately, out of an area that's drawing in more cold Canadian air down this way, but we do see that shade of blue and purple fading away the further south and west you go where milder air is to be found and that's gonna be moving up towards the northeast as we go forward into Thursday, Friday and Saturday. So it's those morning temperatures that we really do feel like chill in the air. So tomorrow morning 27 degrees feeling more like 20 we can see by Friday and Saturday morning, those temperatures are looking and feeling a little bit better across the region. So three year temperature forecast, we go Poughkeepsie later on this evening, it's 30 degrees feeling about 23 Yonkers, 31 feeling about 24. Then by Thursday morning, we can see those temperatures in towards the upper tw for those air temperatures feeling maybe in the low to mid twenties. But then by the afternoon hours, it is certainly much better all across the board. Rain chances will be moving upward heading in through your day on Friday, mainly Friday afternoon in towards the evening hours. The rain will wrap on up Friday night into very early Saturday morning. But then another system comes on in late Saturday night in for the day on Sunday. So we have one dray day on Saturday and a few rainy days we have to deal with along the way.

I'm meteorologist Rich Hoffman, hyperlocal weather forecast. We've had some chilly weather conditions. The last 24 hours we had some snow yesterday. So the cold weather still out there with a high of 39 degrees, kind of mostly sunny to a mixture of sun and clouds. And then tomorrow mostly sunny some afternoon clouds, a high of 48 degrees and we're looking at some fifties heading towards the weekend. So a little bit of that warmer weather coming our way after the deep chill the last 24 hours, you can see feels like temperatures have been in the twenties out there for this afternoon. So cold weather running errands leaving work bundle up. You have the cold numbers, the rest that say feels like temperatures in the twenties. The evening rush hour will be dry with a temperature around 34 degrees in corm 31 at 8 p.m. and down into the twenties when you wake up tomorrow morning. So we have one more morning of the cold weather, wind chills around 20 degrees and you can tomorrow afternoon in Riverhead at one o'clock, it's around 47 degrees sunshine, dry conditions, so some nice weather with that warm up coming away on Thursday before we start to see some wet weather for Friday, a few clouds around four this afternoon, that mixture of sun and clouds, it's breezy and it's cold and you can see now we're dry today. Tomorrow, we're looking at some nice weather. Thursday afternoon, temperatures will be in the mid forties. Some clouds come in Thursday night. And then by Friday morning, we're starting to see more clouds developing not as cold Friday morning. And then for your Friday afternoon, highs will be in the fifties tracking some wet weather. Now, Friday evening, some showers coming in and they're gone rather quickly. It's about a four hour window of some wet weather highs today are in the thirties. It's sun and clouds, it's cold twenties. Four tonight. Fifties. By the time we get towards Friday now, wet weather, more rain, Sunday into Monday.

Another check of the weather. Now with storm watch team, meteorologist, Alex Kalama. Now, Alex yesterday, people even saw some flurries earlier in the day. Are we expecting that or no, no, no flurries today? But officially Central Park did consider it a trace because you saw the flurries, even though it didn't stick, that counted as a trace of snow. But today it's just plain old cold tomorrow morning, pretty chilly too. But tomorrow afternoon, we actually rebound nicely. But then we have to watch plain old rain on Friday the afternoon and the evening you'll need the umbrella. Temperatures are back close to 50 at that point. So it's definitely not going to be anything other than rain. But hey, you know, it's something you'll want to keep in mind the weekend isn't perfect. It's cloudy, but we have a chance for some sprinkles in between those clouds as well. Overall temperatures are going to be milder for the weekend than where we've been. Let's talk today though because we're still on our Wednesday and temperatures are just about as cold as they were yesterday. But the wind is not as bad. We're expecting temperatures to slowly drop into the mid thirties for any late evening plans. It will feel like closer to freezing at that point. In fact, let's talk about the, feels like temperatures because tomorrow morning we're close to 30 on the thermometer, but it does feel like mid twenties. So again, you need the winter jacket, especially early in the day, but maybe just like a light jacket in the afternoon, it's not warm, but it feels like forties and temperatures will be a little bit closer to the 50 degree mark. So tonight, again, dropping near freezing but feels like twenties everywhere. Tomorrow, close to 50 a few spots might hit 50 but I'm expecting most of the afternoon to kind of just be around the mid forties. It's also very sunny too. Today, tomorrow, the air is dry. We really don't have any worries about rain until Friday, probably late afternoon or so. We're starting to see it push through the Bronx around noon time, Friday, just light light showers. The bulk of the rain doesn't come until the later half of the evening. Commute on Friday. This is 5 p.m. and then it's added here by Saturday morning. But you do see it is mainly cloudy on Saturday. So expect those clouds to be pretty widespread Saturday and Sunday. But the rain risk is low, maybe Saturday evening, maybe Sunday night. You see a few showers. Temperatures are not nearly as cold after we get through today though. You see we're back in the forties and fifties, which is about right for this time of the year. All right, Alex.

All right. Let's take a look outside through our community camera in Norwalk Storm Watch team. Meteorologist, Jonathan Cubit. He joins us. Now he's at Orchard Hills Elementary in Milford. Hey, Becky and the kids, they got another reminder for us. They tell us not to forget our. That's right. The coldest weather we've seen so far this season, we've gotten through the worst of it earlier on this morning. But as we progress getting into tonight, one more cold shot, now, temperatures do rebound as we head into your tomorrow as well as your Friday. Unfortunately, we have to wash for showers as we push forward into your Friday night. But after we get through today into your tomorrow again, better weather temperatures starting off in the thirties. We're not going to deal with that biting and chill for your tomorrow morning while you still want to bundle up. We do better heading into your afternoon that high pressures are gonna take over, remain in control. So we're gonna continue with this dry quiet weather. You're just gonna need to grab the coat. So I know it's feeling a little bit more like midwinter for today, but we're back to more seasonal numbers even heading into your Friday. Now, first half of your Friday looks good. We're staying dry. We're actually stepping out the door into some 40 degree weather kind of where we should be for this time of year. But as we head into your afternoon, right around that lunch period, clouds start to fill in and then we're watching for some showers. We'll catch a little bit of a break for that commute home around 45 o'clock for your Friday afternoon. Getting into your Friday evening before we see another round of your showers late Friday evening into your Friday night. So, yeah, maybe date night, maybe dinner night, maybe heading out to the movies. You're definitely gonna wanna grab the umbrella or something with the hood that what weather moves in that week front is gonna produce some showers into your late Friday night before we dry out. Nicely. Heading into the weekend. First half looks good for your Saturday. Still working with some 50 degree weather. I like Saturday a little more than Sunday because it looks like we could see a few more showers in the mix to wrap up the week and looks like an unsettled pattern heading into the first half of next week.

We all know that. No. Thanksgiving is complete without dessert. That's right. So I was just with Long Island's Cape Town who showed me treats that just take seconds to make but are sure to impress your guests. These are so adorable. I love what you've done. And you said I could do this. You're gonna do them quick and easy. You're gonna do them at home. Your guests are gonna be super impressed. We're gonna do three. We're gonna take them from the least to the hardest. So the first we're gonna do an acorn, you're gonna take chocolate butter cream and a Hershey's Kiss. You're gonna put a little butter cream on there. That's like that's it. That's your glue. This is a Nilla wafer. So little mini one. You stick that on there. You put a touch of buttercream. Very little on there. You take a mini chocolate chip and you stick it on the end of there. I mean you're done. Put that down next to that. Mine looks amazing. Next one cornucopia you take apart a white Oreo. You get a Bugle. I don't even know if kids even know what Bugles are anymore. Take take the really get the one. No, that's it. Now you take your Thanksgiving colored M and MS. So there are many M and M you you could go ham on that and put as many as you want or you could put 567, whatever. Yeah. Put the colors on that. Look how adorable. Put an orange, you put that on the tray. I mean we're rolling the last one that you're gonna use the most ingredients on. Yeah. So it's we'll go through one step at a time. Chocolate cupcake, you take a Reese's Peanut butter cup. You put it top side facing up in the front like it's the face. Yeah. Stick it in there like it's the face. Perfect. You're gonna put two little dots of butter cream at the top there for the eyeballs. You get your little craft store edible eyeballs. You stick them on there for that turkey face. Adorable. Then under the eyes you're gonna put another dot For the nose. Perfect. You're gonna grab an M and M pick whatever color you wanna use for that. Put his nose on there. You're good. And then what we did is we cut up gummy worms. You're gonna put a little line next to the nose for his little waddle there or whatever, whatever the technical, I don't know. Right. Can someone please Google? I think we'll go with waddle. You put that next to the face there. His face is done. Yeah. And then you just take candy corn. This is so cute. What do you think? Did I do it? Yeah. You're a winner.
