Police are hunting the man who pushed his way into a Spring Valley cell phone store and beat up a female employee for cash.
According to police, a man waited for the employee of a Spring Valley Marketplace T-Mobile to open the store at 10 a.m. The victim told cops the man pushed his way into the store, beat her up and forced her to open a safe.
The robber got away with an unspecified amount of money. The worker sustained minor injuries to her ribs.
The store was robbed June 29 and again about 24 hours later. Police say they are treating the cases as three unrelated robberies of the same store.
Shoppers say they're concerned about the violence. "It was a very nice neighborhood," said Lee Moldovan. "Now, you're insecure walking around."
