Police say Patrick Kennedy, 79, of Tarrytown was walking across Route 9 at the intersection of Route 119 when he was hit by a northbound car around 2 p.m.

4h agoAn elderly man has died after he was hit by a car in Tarrytown.
Police say Patrick Kennedy, 79, of Tarrytown was walking across Route 9 at the intersection of Route 119 when he was hit by a northbound car around 2 p.m.
He was taken to Westchester Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver, who was from out-of-state, remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.
