The man accused of seriously injuring a Chester police officer last month was indicted on multiple felony charges Tuesday.
Police say Daniel Mooney, 21, plowed his SUV into Police Officer Robert Ferrara?s patrol car during a high-speed pursuit. Mooney, who was out on parole, was indicted on multiple felony charges including assault, reckless endangerment and DWI.
Officer Ferrara has a long road to recovery ahead of him that will include many additional surgeries. The P.B.A. has organized a blood drive in his honor to be held Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Sugar Loaf Engine Company on Route 13A.
