A Dutchess County man was sentenced to 32 years behind bars for shooting at and injuring police officers.
Christopher DeMilio was sentenced in the 2019 Wappinger standoff during which he fired several rounds at state troopers during a domestic violence incident.
Three troopers were injured.
Prosecutors say authorities were called to the scene after DeMilio threatened his wife and young children with a loaded firearm.
