While many people throughout the Hudson Valley are getting ready to hit the roads and the air during the Labor Day weekend, others are staying closer to home due to the recession.
Stewart Airport, along with other airports across the nation, is seeing fewer fliers this Labor Day. Local beaches, however, are expected to be crowded during the holiday weekend.

Greg Williams says he plans to host a barbecue and invite his family over, which would be less costly than traveling.
