A Massachusetts man is facing drug charges in the Hudson Valley.

New York State Police reported that troopers pulled over a car on the Taconic State Parkway in East Fishkill around 2 a.m. last Thursday.

Authorities say the driver, identified as 31-year-old Brandon Green, was determined to be under the influence of drugs and possessing about half a kilogram of cocaine.

Green was subsequently arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and driving while impaired by drugs. He was arraigned in East Fishkill Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.
