Virtual dating show gives singles chance to find love in quarantineAmong many other things, quarantine has made dating difficult to pull off. But thanks to social media and creativity, there’s now a virtual dating show helping singles find love. The show is called “Sheltered in Love,” and the whole thing happens on Instagram.
100 people involved in street fight in Jersey City, 3 face chargesJersey City police say that three people are facing charges for their involvement in a street fight between 100 people on Tuesday.Officials say that the fight broke out Tuesday evening on Bostwick Avenue. Police tried to stop the fight, but some people in the crowd turned on the officers and tried to grab their weapons.Police used pepper spray and batons to control the crowd.
Police say they have a suspect of at least 21 break-ins across Brooklyn stores:  Police say they are searching for a man they say is at the center of at least 21 break-ins across Brooklyn stores closed during the coronavirus pandemic. The owner of Central Organic Deli says the suspect used a brick to smash through the store’s front door on April 22, around 7:20 a.m. 
Report shows local crimes on the rise in WestchesterThe Westchester District Attorney's Office tells News 12 there's been more than a 50% uptick in auto thefts in Westchester County. From January to March, thefts of automobiles jumped 57.4% from the same time last year. In April alone, 69 vehicles were reported stolen - a whopping 93% spike from last year. Westchester District Attorney Anthony Scarpino says the majority were preventable. 
Pizza delivery man killed in West Babylon head-on crash; driver charged:  Police say a West Babylon woman has been arrested for driving with a suspended license in a head-on crash that killed a food delivery man. The incident happened on Bergen Avenue around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police say a Jeep crossed into the oncoming lane, hitting a Toyota.
Bethany farm offers Zoom calls with animalsKathleen Schurman and her husband run Lockets Meadow Farm in Bethany. They have about 140 animals of all shapes and sizes - and many of them are rescues. Schurman says because people can't come to the farm, they can now set up Zoom calls with the animals.Precious the Llama gets more Zoom requests than any other animal, Schurman said. She says Precious protects and guards the other animals.
Police say a dispute led to a shooting in the Mount Eden section of the BronxThey say it all started when a 23-year-old man and a 39-year-old man got into an argument. Police say the 23-year-old hurt his head during the fight and that’s when, they say, he pulled out a gun. Police tell News 12 he shot the 39-year-old twice in the thigh, dropped the gun, and that a 22-year-old man picked the gun up and ran away.
