(05/29/06) GOSHEN ? Two people inside a helicopter endured some frightening moments after their aircraft ran into mechanical trouble and crashed in Goshen Monday.

The helicopter came down in a field surrounded by a wooded area near Route 17A. Despite the accident, a husband and wife inside the chopper managed to walk away from the crash. The couple sustained only minor injuries as a result of the incident.

The husband, who was piloting the helicopter, says the aircraft's hydraulics malfunctioned during the trip. The couple was traveling from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Canada.
