Mercy University's interim dean of the School of Business has been chosen for a prestigious honor.
Victor Peten-Kemani is one of the 60 scholars in this year's Presidential Leadership Scholars. The six-month program will allow participants to travel to multiple presidential centers to study various ways to help strengthen their impact in the communities they serve.
The scholars were chosen based on their leadership and projects aimed at improving their community, the country or the world. Peten-Kemani specifically plans on working to expand access to American education throughout Africa. He wants to find new ways to address the affordability barrier and enhance the competitiveness of young graduates worldwide.
