The MTA says ridership has hit a pandemic high.
The agency says more than 83,000 trips were taken on the Metro-North Friday.
It's the railroad's highest single-day ridership total since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in New York.
The MTA says it's seeing growing ridership agencywide, with the LIRR, New York City subways, and city buses all recording record highs this month.
