This initiative is part of state Sen. James Skoufis' free bus fare program, designed to assist families facing financial challenges during the winter months.
The program will cover Routes 1 through 4, providing cost-free transportation until April 30.
In other Middletown news, parking restrictions will be temporarily suspended through Jan. 2. During this time, vehicles will be permitted to park on city streets.In the event of a winter weather event, vehicles would need to be removed from the street.
