Middletown police are asking for the public?s help in identifying a thief who stole donation money from a local gas station.
Police say while the owner of the Dolson Avenue Getty station was making sandwiches for a customer that customer stole money out of a donation jar on the counter in February. The donations were to go to a 9-year-old Middletown girl who is blind and suffering from a brain tumor. The act was caught on surveillance video.
The owner has since put another donation jar on his counter. Middletown police ask anyone with information to contact them at 845-343-3151.
