A Monticello man has been arrested and charged in connection with a stabbing that occurred on Main Street in South Fallsburg on Friday.

According to police, an officer intervened in a fight and discovered the victim had been stabbed multiple times in the back and arm with pruning shears.

The suspect, Alex Molina, was taken into custody and charged with assault and weapon possession.

The condition of the victim is currently unknown, and further details are being sought. The investigation is ongoing.
