Much like this holiday weekend, the trend of cool nights will continue along with warm days and pleasant skies around the region.

The Northern Lights may be visible for some on Monday night and more so Tuesday night. A G2 to G3 geomagnetic storm is forecast, and while that isn't as high as previous storms, viewing may be possible in rural areas away from streetlights and with a night-time setting on the camera.

There will be comfortable levels of humidity through much of the work week to go along with the sunshine.

A chance for rain pops up by week's end with a system that will be approaching the region.

Clouds will increase through Thursday ahead of the system's arrival.

Rain moves in, on and off, throughout Friday, with showers tapering off into the first half of Saturday. Some spotty or scattered showers could linger into the second half.

Another sun-filled stretch moves in after that with seasonal temperatures.
