A pregnant 22-year-old Brooklyn resident says she has been living in a NYCHA apartment that is covered with mold.  

Angelica Chipp, the high-risk mother-to-be, says she has also been without heat since December at inside her Borinquen Plaza apartment.   

Chipp says she had a near-death experience after waking up to firefighters knocking on her door due to a gas leak in the apartment. 

She says she’s reached out to NYCHA on multiple occasions, but no one’s resolved the problem.

News 12 has reached out to NYCHA and is awaiting a response.
