An unconscious male motorcyclist was found in the road, while a seriously injured female was trapped in the car. Rescue teams extricated the woman within 16 minutes.

4ds agoEmergency crews responded to a severe motorcycle-car crash on Route 9 near Alpine Commons Shopping Plaza in Wappinger on Monday night.
An unconscious male motorcyclist was found in the road, while a seriously injured female was trapped in the car. Rescue teams extricated the woman within 16 minutes.
Both victims were transported to hospitals: the male to MidHudson Regional Hospital and the female to Westchester Medical Center via medevac helicopter.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
