Mount Vernon man sentenced to 50 years in prison for sexual assault of a minor
According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, 35-year-old Leland Robinson was sentenced in federal court Friday in White Plains.

A Mount Vernon man is going to prison for 50 years for enticing a 14-year-old into sexual conduct.
According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, 35-year-old Leland Robinson was sentenced in federal court Friday in White Plains.
Robinson was convicted after a week-long trial in July of 2023.
Authorities say five years ago, Robinson posed as a high school student and met a 14-year-old boy on social media.
Robinson traveled to the victim's home in Connecticut multiple times.
On one of those occasions, authorities say he sexually assaulted the boy in the yard outside his house.
