Mount Vernon police are seeking the public's assistance in locating a suspected shooter involved in an incident that occurred last week.
According to the department, a single gunshot was reported on Thursday around 11:30 a.m. at the corner of 10th Avenue and West Third Street.
The shooter fled the scene shortly after the gunshot was fired. Fortunately, no injuries or damages were reported from the incident.
