A "first-of-its-kind" fitness center has opened its doors in Mount Vernon.
Mayor Shawyn Patterson-Howard and local officials held a ribbon-cutting this morning at the MVP Health Care Fitness Court at Hartley Park.
The park emphasizes an inclusive design catering to individuals of all ages, body types and fitness levels, promoting a workout at one's own pace.
"The court features seven distinct stations offering a myriad of exercise options tailored to various skill levels," said Patterson-Howard.
The fitness court, accessible to individuals aged 14 and above, encourages users to leverage the complimentary Fitness Court app for workout guidance.
