Today is National Cappuccino Day! You know you're in for a brew-tiful day when you taste that first cup of (frothy) coffee in the morning.
National Cappuccino Day is observed every year on Nov. 8. The traditional Italian coffee consists of espresso, heated milk and steamed milk foam.
In the current age of Starbucks and other designer coffee brands, cappuccinos now come spiced up in all sorts of varieties – like the popular autumn favorite: pumpkin coffee.
And if you're wondering where the drink gets its namesake, it comes from Capuchin friars.
