New Dragonator ride spins into Rye Playland

Rye Playland's newest attraction is now officially open to the public!

The Dragonator is the park's first new ride in over a decade.

The name for the ride was chosen from hundreds of submissions.

The Dragonator holds 24 riders and spins around a U-shaped track.

The Dragonator - part roller coaster, part spinning ride - reaches a maximum speed of just over 40 mph.
