New Rochelle development commissioner facing lawsuit in connection to attack on security guard

The New Rochelle development commissioner is facing a $1 million lawsuit in connection to an attack on a Trump Plaza security guard.
Video appears to show Luiz Aragon tossing a cart full of newspapers out of a Trump Plaza elevator in New Rochelle, then grabbing a security guard and shoving him out as well.
It happened inside the commissioner's apartment building last October.
Aragon says he was called a homophobic slur by the guard before the attack, but the lawsuit claims that was a lie, and that Aragon threatened to have the guard fired for using the resident elevators to deliver the morning newspapers.
Aragon is now being sued for assault, battery and defamation.
He was previously charged with harassment, but the charge was dismissed after he stayed out of trouble for six months.
