375ds agoNearly 1,000 Trinity Elementary students received backpacks today filled with school supplies.
The giveaway was thanks to a partnership including Optimum, Discovery and Save the Children.
Organizers spent the morning giving away backpacks to kids in kindergarten to fifth grade.
Trinity Elementary School Principal said, “We're still grappling with a multitude of different challenges with the pandemic and so this just adds one more layer of support for students and for families at the same time."
