Residents in New Rochelle are dealing with another water main break on Main Street this week.

This break occurred near the turn onto Kings Highway, marking the second such incident at this location within the week.

When News 12 went out to the scene around 9 a.m., no repair crews were present. The area was marked off with DPW cones around a significant pothole. Veolia, the water utility company, has since informed News 12 that it dispatched a team to address the issue.

Veolia confirmed that the first break at this spot occurred last week, with repairs being completed from Thursday into Friday. The cause of this latest leak is currently under investigation.

No reports of discolored water have been received, and there are no boil water advisories in effect, according to Veolia.
