Marching bands, dancing troupes and impressive floats filed the streets in New Rochelle Saturday during its 54th Annual Thanksgiving Parade.
The cast of characters floating down North Avenue included Bert and Ernie and the Grinch.
The star of the show was Mighty Mouse, who was created in New Rochelle and led off the parade. Members of an Iona fraternity acted as the float's handlers.
"Honestly, it's all about team chemistry and team work…we will get this done," said one handler.
