Town officials posted on Facebook saying the advisory was for residents on Riley Road from Dean Hill Road to Route 94, Ash Street & Birch Drive.
News 12 was told there was a water main break Sunday, prompting water to be turned off while repairs were made.
It's normal for a boil water advisory to be enforced after water is turned off, because that's when harmful bacteria could manifest.
