New Yonkers site to offer vaccine to anyone 16+ with no appointment

Starting today, there is a new site in Yonkers for anyone older than 16 to get their COVID-19 shot with no appointment needed.
It's located at the New York National Guard Recruiting Center.

You can still register online or over the phone. But staff say this effort makes it easier for people to get their vaccine.
This push will go until May 4 and there are plenty of vaccines to go around. News 12 is told they have more than 2,500 vials of the Pfizer vaccine.
On Tuesday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that all New Yorkers ages 16 and up will be accommodated on a walk-in basis at all state-run vaccination sites starting Thursday.
