A New York man pleaded guilty to federal charges after turning a New Rochelle hotel room into a clandestine drug lab.
Pedro Marte, 47, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute narcotics.
Marte was arrested last April after authorities responded to a suspicious fire at the Marriott Residence Inn. They found a room with cocaine and materials to process into crack cocaine.
Authorities found drugs and tools to produce and sell at a storage room he allegedly rented.
Marte will be sentenced in April.
