New York statewide proposals on the ballot

As you head to the polls today, be sure to take note of two important statewide proposals on your ballot.
Proposal 1: Remove Debt Limit on Small City School Districts Amendment
A "YES" vote supports eliminating the constitutional debt limit for small city school districts. This limit is currently set at 5% of the average full value of the last five years' property tax rolls within the district.
Proposal 2: Exclude Indebtedness for Sewage Facilities Amendment
A "YES" vote supports allowing communities to exclude their constitutional debt limits when it comes to the construction or maintenance of sewer facilities.
