A City of Newburgh resident is facing an attempted murder charge following a weekend stabbing that left a woman injured.
Detectives said it happened Saturday just before noon near 73 Bridge St.
Police found a woman with severe injuries to her hands and head. She was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
