A Newburgh man has been sentenced to eight years behind bars for a shooting last May.


The Orange County District Attorney's Office says 34-year-old Paul Raz waited outside the victim's home and fired at the victim, narrowly missing them.


Paz was arrested by police after he was caught on surveillance video.


Paz admitted to illegally possessing a loaded firearm at the plea proceedings.
