Desiderio told News 12 in an exclusive interview last week that he was put on paid leave earlier this month before classes began.

The teacher says he’s been reassigned, fired as a coach, written up more than 50 times and suspended three times before now - since giving the Orange County District Attorney’s Office evidence of a grading and attendance scandal in 2016.

Desiderio says he was previously cleared of any wrongdoing.

So far, the reason for Desiderio’s current suspension has not been disclosed. The district says it doesn't comment on personnel matters.
