NTSB: Preliminary report on fatal Orange County bus crash expected within 30 days

An NTSB spokesperson says bus driver Lisa Schaffer was interviewed on Saturday.

Investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board have interviewed the bus driver in last Thursday's fatal rollover accident in Orange County.
Two teachers were killed and more than 40 were injured when the bus carrying band members from Farmingdale High School on Long Island crashed on I-84 in Wawayanda.
Two patients at the Westchester Medical Center are now listed in good condition, according to a hospital spokesperson.
An NTSB spokesperson says bus driver 59-year-old Lisa Schaffer, of Centereach, Long Island was interviewed on Saturday.
No details were released.
Meanwhile, the NTSB team, which arrived Friday, will soon be finishing their work here.
A preliminary report is expected within 30 days.
A final report will take at least a year.
