Police say the Nyack steakhouse where a massive fight broke out over the weekend has been issued numerous violations and citations since it opened less than a year ago.
According to authorities, two people were arrested Saturday night at the Riviera Steakhouse following a 75-person bar brawl that left an Orangetown police officer injured.
Max Jules, of Spring Valley, was charged with felony assault. Cecil Morgan, of Nyack, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Since last September, the restaurant was cited for illegally permitting outdoor dining and improperly cleaning its kitchen exhaust system, and issued noise and overcrowding violations.
The restaurant's case has been referred to the state liquor authority.
