Federal stimulus money totaling nearly $90 million in aid will help repair many New York City Housing Authority buildings in the Bronx.
The bulk of that money will be going to the Soundview Houses. They'll receive $26 million for brick and roof repairs.
According to city officials, the money will not only provide needed repairs, but also bring over 3,000 jobs to the city.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg says work on the repairs will start immediately.
