Officials: 6 people hospitalized after fiery single-car crash in Monroe

Six people, including 3 children, were transported to the hospital with injuries overnight after a fiery car crash off Route 17 in Monroe, according to officials.
News 12 was sent video of the scene from a source showing a vehicle in the woods engulfed in flames, and a heavy first responder presence nearby.
State police say the accident happened at approximately 2:28 a.m. News 12 is told all six occupants escaped just before the car burst into flames.
Officials say the car went off the road and into the woods between exits 131 and 130.
Kiryas Joel EMS took the occupants to Westchester Medical Center.
Emergency medical sources say some of the victims suffered burns.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
