Businesses were back open at the Gateway Shopping Center in Port Chester Friday, although some did not have water.

The Target still did not have water Friday morning, while the Kohl's and Whole Foods locations were sparsely using water.

Fire officials say the situation began Wednesday in front of the Kohl's on Boston Post Road. Businesses remained closed over the course of the last two days to address the situation.

Crews were still on the scene as of Friday at 5 p.m. as they continued to work on full repairs.
