The Taylor Biomass recycling company in Montgomery has received a special honor for "going green."
The company is building a multimillion-dollar "waste-to-energy" plant that will convert garbage into electricity.
Because of the project, Taylor Biomass has received a sustainability certification from Orange County's Chamber of Commerce and the energy-group, Greenopia.
Taylor Biomass is the first member of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce to be honored with the award.
