An Orange County father says he wonders if enough is being done to protect the safety of football players. 

It comes after Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on field in a Monday night game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

 Cornwall Dad Paul Marrero says he played football for 12 years in high school and college.

Marrero has a sophomore who plays at Cornwall High School and a freshman who just played his first season at Villanova.

 He says it was scary for all of them to see what happened to Hamlin and it made them think.

"I'm not preventing them from playing -- if they choose to play, they choose to play, but I'll certainly be a little more cautious when I watch these games, I guess," he says.  

Marrero says he thinks it will at least make his sons think about how they move in the game going forward.
