Three Orange County teachers are now in the running to be named “America’s Favorite Teacher.”

Erika Arrieta, Gregory Bennett and Falyn Dutcher are all finalists in the nationwide competition.

Arrieta is a Kindergarten teacher in Greenwood Lake. Bennett is the director of choirs at Middletown High School. Dutcher is a middle school art teacher at Temple Hill Academy in Newburgh.

The winner will also receive $25,000 and win a trip to Hawaii.

"America’s Favorite Teacher" is chosen by online voting, which ends Thursday.
