Ossining police rescue severely injured dog

Officers say they responded to a distress call and discovered the dog, later identified as Loki, severely injured and barely able to move.

Ossining police helped rescue a young dog left for dead on the side of the road.
Officers say they responded to a distress call and discovered the dog, later identified as Loki, severely injured and barely able to move.
The poodle mix was rushed to the Westchester SPCA in Briar Cliff Manor for treatment.
It is believed that Loki either suffered severe burns or was attacked by another animal.
